Oral and Visual Presentation Skills Seminar

You’ve probably heard the saying before �“ it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. This adage is truer that you can imagine. Hearing and seeing someone scream “have a nice day” with a scowl says much more about how a person feels about someone than if those four words were communicated in an e-mail or a letter. Regardless of whether someone knows a particular subject inside and out, the way they communicate orally and visually during a presentation has a drastic effect on audience perceptions. Oral and visual presentation skills must be cultivated if one is focused on becoming the most effective presenter possible. Our half-day Oral and Visual Presentation Skills Seminar is designed to teach new and experienced presenters how to enhance their oral and visual communication skills for maximum effectiveness.
Information-filled and highly interactive, our Oral and Visual Presentation Skills Seminar focuses on key skills that can be used by sales professionals, managers, association officers, educators, project managers or anyone else who needs to improve oral and visual presentation skills. This training workshop will provide the oral and visual presentation skills necessary to be an engaging presenter with the ability to maintain audience interest while presenting on nearly any topic.
Each Oral and Visual Presentation Skills Seminar training module centers on presentation topics such as visual appearance, verbal content and quality, presentation flow, visual aids usage, and the ability overcome stress and anxiety. Participants will practice oral and visual presentations skills by using a presentation they plan on delivering outside of the classroom environment. Four videotaped presentations are used to reinforce the learning process. Each presentation is followed by coaching and feedback �“ a personalized training approach that promotes individual progress and allows participants to strengthen oral and visual communication skills. Training modules utilize activities such as communication assessments, exercises, discussions and question and answer sessions help shape the training environment.
Oral and Visual Presentation Skills Seminar training seminar participants will learn to:
- Deliver presentations on any topic in an engaging manner
- Utilize oral presentation skills to enhance articulation, pacing, and fluency
- Utilize visual presentation skills to enhance body language and gesturing
- Enhance use of eye contact with audience members

- Overcome anxiety and stress association with a presentation
- Project control and confidence via powerful oral and visual presentation skills
- Eliminate negative or distracting mannerisms that detract from a message
- Build an action plan to enhance personal image via presentation skills
