Presentation Tips and Techniques (Two-Hour Session)

Some people have the innate ability and polish to present effectively and naturally with little anxiety. These people are fortunate, indeed. Most presenters are unfamiliar with the presentation process and would prefer to sit in the audience than stand behind a podium. Others present often but suffer from anxiety and nervousness that make every presentation a difficult affair. Yet, even the fortunate ones are not perfect and often need a tip or two to help them improve their style.

Even some of the most common sense tips and techniques can go a long way towards improving personal effectiveness. Our Presentation Tips and Techniques training session is designed for those seasoned professionals who need that extra “inside tip” or idea to take their presentation skills to the next level.

Designed as an informative and fast-paced training program, our two-hour Presentation Tips and Techniques workshop will provide presenters with an exciting fact-filled session that will deliver an immediate impact on their presentations. The tips and techniques covered in this class are not your typical tips. Rather, they are designed to be utilized immediately upon leaving the workshop so as to make presentations more dynamic and persuasive.

Training class discussions focus on tips such as the how to know what your audience is thinking, how to turn a bland presentation into an exciting presentation and how to ensure that every person who attends a presentation clearly understands what you expect of them. The Presentation Tips and Techniques class will benefit those who must speak to large groups at association conferences or deliver a sales kick-off presentation for a company’s sales force. Tips and techniques are modeled by a senior level instructor and are applicable to nearly any presentation situation. Seminar learning activities such as personal assessments, group discussions, exercises and other activities help make this presentations seminar a hit!

Presentation Tips and Techniques (Two-Hour Session) participants will learn to:

• Turn boring subjects into dynamic presentations
• Use specific tips to persuade audience members during a presentation
• Implement tips and techniques to enhance personal voice projection, articulation, pacing, and fluency and body language, eye contact, and gesturing
• “See” what an audience thinks about a topic
• Identify and handle various inquiries and even the most difficult questions
• Project control and confidence through delivery skills
• Identify negative or distracting mannerisms that may detract from a presentation
• Implement persuasive oral communication techniques
• Apply tips to build more effective presentation slides and visual aids
• Build an action plan to enhance personal image via tips and techniques
