Exceptional Presentations Skills

By far, one of the most valuable skills one can possess in the business world is the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly. This applies not only to communication as it relates to business meetings or sales calls but particularly in the realm of presentation skills. While most business professionals feel comfortable communicating on a personal level, many are deathly afraid to give presentations to larger audiences, regardless of the topic or occasion.

 With sufficient presentation skills practice, nearly any professional can be transformed from a timid presenter to a dynamic speaker empowered with the presentation skills to educate and influence associates, customers and business partners. Our two-day Exceptional Presentations Skills training program is a powerful training program designed to provide multiple opportunities for participants to learn and practice the most effective presentation techniques available in the field today.

The Exceptional Presentations Skills training workshop focuses on providing participants with multiple methods of professional business communications including preparation, structure, delivery, strategy, use of visual aids, and the ability to handle question and answer sessions with ease. Participants practice by preparing and delivering a real-life business presentation which, ideally, they will be delivering within 90 days of the workshop.

Participants will be videotaped ten times. Each training program presentation is followed by a one-on-one coaching session, designed to provide individual feedback from an instructor. This format allows participants to evaluate personal progress and alter any distracting behaviors or areas of needed improvement. No other presentations skills workshop uses such a comprehensive and effective teaching method. Additional time is spent working on individual exercises, question and answer sessions and skill-based group activities. All presentations skills taught in the class are modeled by our senior team of instructors.

Exceptional Presentation Skills program participants will learn to:

• Present technical information in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner
• Enhance voice projection, articulation, pacing, and fluency
• Enhance body language, eye contact, and gesturing
• Determine audience attitudes and needs
• Identify and handle various types of audience questions
• Overcome nervousness
• Use presentation media effectively
• Project control and confidence through delivery skills
• Overcome negative or distracting mannerisms
• Develop a formalized product presentation
• Plan their presentation around the forces that affect business presentations
• Structure a presentation to gain maximum effect
• Implement persuasive communication techniques
• Implement audience involvement techniques
• Set up a specific action plan to improve their image through presentations skills and practice
